• Dr. Edwin Hernandez visits Google Campus in Seattle

    December 9th, 2015.  Our Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Edwin A Hernandez was invited to visit Google campus in Seattle, WA. This location hosts over 2000 Googlers and it’s the 3rd largest campus in the United States after Mountain View, CA and New York City.  During its visit Dr. Hernandez was able to interact with Google executives and present our products to them. We are excited for all the knowledge gained as part of this visit including the seminars attended by Dr. Hernandez as part of the Tuck Executive Program promoted by Dartmouth University. 

    EGLA COMMUNICATIONS is particularly excited about future praetorships and all that was gained and soon in application for EGLA’s digital strategy and future in 2016.

    As part of its visit, Dr. Hernandez was taken on a tour of the Google campus and witnessed how the Googliness is in effect around the campus.

     Florida Venture ForumSpace Florida, and Enterprise Development Corp of South Florida have selected  twenty-four Florida-based companies to present at the Emerging Technologies & Business Showcase (ETBS), to be held at the Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables on November 4.

    In addition to presentations and other programming, the ETBS will feature $150,000 in awards presented to winning companies in the early and growth-stage categories. The awards will be provided by Space Florida.

    Presenters were selected from a record pool of applicants by a committee of active Florida venture capitalists and other investors, and will present to an audience of investors, other deal professionals and entrepreneurs.

    EGLA will continue supporting the SKY TUNES effort and all services associated with SKY TUNES including iOS and Android applications.  SKY TUNES is a service available to SKY BRASIL subscribers and has been in operation since 2013.  The companies will continue fostering their relationship and the terms of the deal were not disclosed.

EGLA has served and tested its devices in US and LATAM markets. Our presence has been in cable and telecommunication operators in Brasil (SKY), Mexico), México (CABLEVISION, CABLE MAS, and AXTEL TV), Colombia (UNE) with content from DMX/MOOD MEDIA, also other countries in Latin America, including Honduras (Cable Color).
